Built around the trio of Doug Burnett and his two oldest daughters, Kristian and Erin, Posey Hill is a fine Americana blend of Arkansas bluegrass, old time and contemporary folk. Usually accompanied by in-law Chuck Hughes, they feature enchanting vocals with tight family harmony and tasteful acoustic instrumentation performing songs for people of all ages to enjoy. More and more they feature their own original material along with many standards. Their influences include Alison Krauss, Patty Loveless, The Trio (Dolly, Emmylou and Linda), the Carter Family, New Grass Revival, the Greencards, Flatt & Scruggs, Dan Fogelberg, Fleetwood Mac, Eagles, Seldom Scene, Beatles, etc. From coffee houses and festivals, to corporate events and weddings, Posey Hill is a great choice for anyone wanting to hear a sweet, lonesome sound.
